About me

Hi! My name is Nina and I’m 32 years old. I recently decided that it was about time for me to find a ‘signature scent’. I was watching a TikTok and the girl was talking about how she walked by someone and had to stop the girl to find out what perfume she was wearing because it was THAT GOOD. I’ve always loved that. I always wanted to be that girl. I don’t smell BAD, I just don’t have a ‘go to’ perfume that someone smells and says “that’s you. That’s a Nina scent”. SO HERE WE ARE!

I am VERY much a novice when it comes to perfumes/scents. I want to make that clear. I’m coming into this journey as a student, but I figured I would learn as I go and take you on the journey with me. My plan is to use my little slice of the internet to jot down all my thoughts/feelings/impressions of scents as I smell them. 1.) to be able to look back on and 2.) maybe this will help someone out.

I follow a few perfume girls on TikTok and I just ADORE them… they’re so knowledgable but it’s a little intimidating because I quite frankly have no idea what they’re talking about. Currently if you put sandalwood and amber in front of me, I wouldn’t be able to tell you which is which. But you know what I can tell you? If it smells good to me. How it makes me feel. When/where I would wear it. Etc.
